With that being said, Katrina hit unexpectedly and we were unprepared for it as a nation. The N.O. mayor deserves as much blame as anyone on the federal or state level. I am creole and from the 9th ward in New Orleans and I love this song. To start off my Dad missed my 18th birthday to fight in Iraq in 2004 so I didn’t like Bush from the jump. My great- great aunt is 86 and had to sit on her roof for 4 days with nothing she almost didn’t make it. After seeing the city on the news my grandma told us to not bother with trying to fight her cancer she just gave up cause her city was gone, she died in April. I don’t think Bush knows the true impact of devestation that went on last year. He does not need to be running a country he should resign before he ruins even more lives if that is even possible.
