Could be rabies, I don’t know. I heard very strange shrieky sounds the night before, I didn’t investigate cuz I thought it was probably fighting skunks or squirrels. Perhaps it was this raccoon in its death throes… Does that sound like a rabies death or a poison death?

Sure it’s not rabies? That’s a pretty common cause of death for them. They’re one of the four common carrier species in the U.S.
