  1. The documentary the world has waited 35,000 years for! The part that gets me is when Herzog mentions a pair of ancient footprints deep in the cave: one belonging to a small boy, and next to him, the prints of a “wolf.” It’s Timmy and Lassie’s ancient ancestors. The mental picture of a small boy and his faithful wolf-dog venturing into the dark, unknown recesses of a cave together is just thrilling.
